Mark A. Risi has been practicing personal injury law since graduating
from Law School in 1983. After graduating high school in Daytona
Beach, Florida, he attended and graduated from the University of
Florida in 1978. He then attended Stetson University College of
Law in St. Petersburg, Florida and graduated after 2½ years
in December 1983. He sat for the Florida Bar in March of 1984 and
was admitted to the Florida Bar in May of 1984. After graduation,
Mr. Risi worked in West Palm Beach for two years before joining
the law firm of Gary, Williams and Parenti in Ft. Pierce and Stuart
Florida. That firm was headed by Willie E. Gary, the nationally
renown trial attorney. Mr. Risi worked on many high profile and
substantial cases with Mr. Gary. However, Mr. Risi longed to return
to central Florida to be near to his family and thus secured a position
in Daytona Beach with the firm of Leonhardt and Upchurch. Mr. Risi
worked primarily with former Circuit Court Judge John Upchurch until
the firm dissolved. He then moved to the Orlando area and after
five years of practicing in other firms, he opened his own firm
in 1995.
